Added oil and started on 2nd pull. Bought this for a tiller, it has plenty of power for my garden. I've owned it for 5 weeks now and after sitting for 2 weeks without running it started on the first pull.

I have one of these engines, I use it for my rototiller during the summer and on my genset during the winter. I have over 40 hours on this engine, and its worked great for me. Starts easily, does not burn much fuel (5.2 hours per tank), and lots of power. My only complaint is the plastic and rubber parts fail on these, I had to replace the gas cap with a honda part because it kept leaking

In the process of building a log splitter I needed a engine and started looking. I was looking for one at a decent affordable price. I saw the Lifan 6.5 hp and read some reviews about it. Found good reviews and could not beat the price so decided to buy. It arrived in a slightly damaged condition, the dent in the tank was minor and does not affect the operation. I filled engine with oil and fuel, three pulls later it was running. Excellent starting and running, started with 1-2 pulls since, every time and I really like the fuel shut off. I can't comment on longevity but for the price and quality I received it will probably last as long as other makes and possibley longer. Time will tell. I will be buying another in the future.
